We are one of the newest wine names in the Temecula Valley, having released our 2009 vintage in July of 2010.
Our business model makes use of internet sales, high end wine stores and restaurants with extensive dessert menus. We don't have a tasting room or a big expensive winery that results in high prices. We rent space at a local winery with Mapes Cellars making all the critical winemaking decisions. This includes what equipment to use and the harvest date for optimum ripeness at the best vineyards in California.
By keeping our overhead low we are able to sell our wines at a good price point that is affordable to most consumers. In these challenging economic times, a special occasion wine at a reasonable price is indeed a rarity.
As you review our wines on the following pages you will see they are truly unique. We strive to produce a product that first and foremost exhibits intense flavor followed by a balance of sweetness and acidity. Our wines are not flabby or cloying, traits that interfere in the pairing of food.
After you try our wines you will agree that adding a Mapes Cellars dessert wine at the end of the meal is like tying a bow on a special gift for your guests.
